By downloading or using Muscle Echo ("the App"), you agree to these Terms.
The App is a mobile application for managing and analyzing workout records. Core functionality works offline. Some features (cloud backup, AI routine generation, ads) require internet and additional consent.
All features at v1.0 launch are free. The following features are explicitly in "beta" and may convert to paid features upon official release:
Grandfather Policy: Users who sign up within 60 days of v1.0 launch automatically receive 60 days of Pro free trial. This right is guaranteed by these Terms.
Free users may see banner ads served by Google AdMob on certain screens. Ad-related data handling follows Google's ad policy and this App's Privacy Policy. Ads are NEVER shown during a workout or other safety-critical screens.
Workout records are stored in an SQLCipher-encrypted database on your device. With cloud backup enabled, data is also stored on Google Firestore. You may request data deletion at any time from Settings.
The AI routine feature works by having the App generate a prompt that you paste into an external AI chatbot (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude — app or web), then paste the response back into the App. The App parses the response and turns it into a routine. No API key input is required. The App does not transmit your inputs or AI responses to any external server, and the operators do not pre-review AI responses. Generated routines may not be suitable for your fitness level — please review and follow them at your own discretion.
The App does not replace medical advice. The operator is not responsible for injuries or worsening of conditions that occur during exercise. Users are responsible for choosing exercises appropriate for their physical condition. Consult a medical professional when needed.
The operator may modify or discontinue features with prior notice. Material changes (e.g., free → paid) will be notified via in-app announcement or email at least 30 days in advance.
These Terms may be revised. Continued use of the App after revision constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
