Privacy Policy

Muscle Echo ("the App") values your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

■ Required (for core service)

• Workout data: routines, sets, weight, reps, duration
• Stored locally on your device only. Never transmitted externally.

■ Optional (when signed in)

• Account info: email, name, profile photo (via Google / Apple)
• Cloud backup: workout data synced to Google Firestore — can be disabled in Settings at any time

■ Optional (with your consent)

• App analytics: Firebase Analytics (anonymous data)
• Crash reports: Firebase Crashlytics (stack traces, device model)

■ Automatically collected for advertising (Google AdMob)

• Advertising ID (AAID, Android Advertising ID)
• Coarse location (country / region level), device info, ad response data
• Collected by Google AdMob (Google LLC). Pro subscribers have ads disabled and this collection stops as well.
• On Android: Settings > Privacy > Ads to reset AAID or opt out of personalized ads.

2. How We Use Information

• Store and analyze your workout records
• Cloud sync across devices (signed-in users)
• Improve app performance and fix bugs (Analytics / Crashlytics)
• Display and measure ads (AdMob)

3. Third-Party Services

We only share data with the following services:

• Google Firebase: cloud backup, authentication, analytics, crash reporting
• Google AdMob: ad serving and advertising identifier processing
• We do not sell or share your data with any other third parties.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

• Local data: deleted immediately when the app is uninstalled
• Cloud data: deleted within 30 days of account deletion request
• Analytics data: retained up to 14 months per Google policy

5. Your Rights

You may exercise the following rights at any time:

• View data: access your workout records directly in the app
• Delete data: Settings > Delete Account
• Delete cloud backup: Settings > Cloud Backup > Delete Data
• Withdraw Analytics / Crashlytics consent: Settings > Privacy Policy

6. Children

This app is not intended for children under 14. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
